ACNH - How to get Hello Kitty items

Many of the Hello Kitty items will be coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons later this month, along with their villagers accompanying them. Probably the only way to get these villagers and their themed items is by purchasing amiibo cards, but there may be a loophole.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons players are eagerly awaiting the arrival of new residents. But not just any new villagers; Thanks to the previously announced Sanrio Collaboration Pack, the six villagers of Sanrio - Etoile, Chai, Chelsea, Marty, Toby and Rilla - will arrive on the players' islands on March 26. to their inspired forms. For example, Etoile is inspired by Little Twin Stars and includes Kiki and Layla items such as bed, clock, cloud maker, magic wand and clothes. Chai, based on Cinnamoroll Sanrio, appears to be a fan favorite right now with its themed umbrella, sofa and rug.

The first step to getting Sanrio items in the game is to purchase Sanrio amiibo cards, which can only be obtained through Target. Unfortunately, amiibo cards are not distributed through competing storefronts that sell game items such as Best Buy or GameStop, but players may seemingly purchase them online or in stores. Amiibo cards are available at $ 5.99 each; However, it is likely that some amiibo cards will be more popular than others and therefore sell faster. Of course, each villager's amiibo card only contains relevant in-game items.

After buying the amiibo cards, go to Harv Island. Here, players can temporarily take each of the villagers of Sanrio to Animal Crossing: New Horizons and do some photo shoots, but tapping the amiibo cards will also unlock all related items, including clothing and furniture. To buy them, open the Nook Shopping app and go to the far right side labeled "Promotion". All related items should appear.

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons collaboration should unlock approximately 12 to 14 items per map, each from approximately 1,000 clocks to 5,000 bells. However, players may be able to get items without buying amiibo cards.

Players may be able to gift or exchange Animal Crossing items with other players who haven't purchased amiibo cards, but since New Horizons hasn't seen the paid DLC yet, it's unclear if this is allowed. If possible, this will likely cause fans to spend real money on in-game items and villagers.
