Nintendo has an official Animal Crossing: New Horizons Island called "Ninten Island". The company frequently updates the island with new designs in line with the latest updates.

It started to snow in mid-December. Players started seeing snow piling up on bushes, plants, and buildings. Snowballs also began to appear, and building the perfect "snow boy" rewarded players with special, snow-tinkering.

Several snow scenes can now be watched on the island of Ninten. Players can visit the island while lying in bed and floating on the Island of Dreams with the correct code. Before players can start, they need an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription, internet connection, and a bed to sleep on.

Nintendo Island is also a great place to see what items are available. Some may have missed a few pieces of furniture or DIY, so they know what to work on. Players will also see what the "perfect" Snowboy looks like.

The redesign of the island of Ninten comes as snow falls on islands around the world. On many islands, you can now see trees decorated with Christmas lights. These trees can be shuffled to have a small chance of getting different colored ornaments. Snowflakes started falling too. These items can be collected for DIY projects, from Isabelle, Snowboys, or air balloons.

Winter celebrations precede the annual Toy Day celebrations at the end of this month. Kringle will visit Animal Crossing again and ask players for help. Players will be asked to give gifts to the islanders. The islanders have special taste, but the player is rewarded for giving the right gifts.

The gifts are now available and players should start collecting them now. As part of Nook's Cranny's Christmas offering, there is an assortment of toys. This toy changes every day, but begins to repeat itself every few days. Players can purchase these items, from 2,000 to 3,000 Animal Crossing bells, and get ready to showcase them for Toy Day.

Toy Day is the newest special event in the game. Unlike previous parts, Nintendo is slowly introducing new events in monthly updates. These new updates and events give players something to look forward to every month. The next update will come in late January and will bring back the trendy peacock Pave.
