ACNH's most valuable inhabitants to help you make a profit

There are many ways to earn money in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. One of the best methods is collecting items for sale on the Nookazon Social Marketplace. There, Animal Crossing players can sell anything from furniture to fossils, and prices are based on the supply and demand of the players themselves, not what Tommy and Timmy are paying for. One of the more interesting things players can sell on Nookazon is the people of New Horizon. Making Animal Crossing bells by pawning these fictional friends may sound cruel, but if fans have the right villager in need, they can make a nice profit.

Selling to villagers is not as easy as collecting expensive items. Village residents are randomly found when visiting the Mysterious Islands, and players can only have 10 Animal Crossing Village residents at a time. There are 397 villagers available in New Horizon, so the chances of a player encountering one of the top 10 are pretty low. Therefore, players looking to make money selling villagers will likely want to attack the animal species they are looking for, not a specific villager.

To sell a villager on Nookazon, players must first wait until he is ready to leave their island. This can be done by waiting for the actual days or by changing the Nintendo Switch calendar to "time travel" for the villager to leave. Once the villager wishes to move, the player can place them on the Nookazon, where another Animal Crossing player can purchase the right to fly to the island and invite the villager to his home. According to Nookazon, the price of these villagers can range from thousands to millions.

The most valuable animals that live in villages - Cats

Cats are the most common animal crossing species, with 23 villagers living in New Horizons. Since there are so many of them, players will likely encounter them when visiting the Mysterious Islands. All Cat Village residents sell for a decent price on Nookazon, ranging in value from 8.13 million ringtones for Animal Crossing's most popular resident, Raymond, to 650,000 ringtones for Kitty.

The most valuable animals that live in villages - Cubs

Like Animal Crossing's cat population, cub villagers are another profitable species. There are 16 cubs in New Horizons, and each of them can bring quite a lot of Animal Crossing Bells. Judy the Cub is currently worth 6.25 million Bells on the Nookazon, while the lowest value is Poncho at 650,000 Bells. Many cubs sell for at least 1 million Bells, so invite them home while exploring the Mysterious Islands.

The most valuable animals that live in villages - Deer

The Animal Crossing deer species was introduced in New Leaf and has featured in every game ever since. There are 10 different deer villagers in New Horizon, and all but two can get over 900,000 bells. Currently, the highest figure, according to Nookazon, is Diana, 1.33 million Bells, and the lowest is Lopez, 711 111 Bells. While none of the deer villagers come as close to a cat as Raymond's, their high value for all 10 individuals makes it worth keeping an eye on.

The most valuable animals that live in villages - Wolves

While there aren't many wolf villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons like deer, their value as a villager makes them very profitable. There are 11 wolves in New Horizons, and each inhabitant of the Wolf's Village is worth at least 1 million Bells. The most highly valued wolf is Dobie with 1.8 million Bells, and the lowest is Freya with 1 million Bells. There isn't one wolf worth a staggering sum of money, but the fact that everyone can make such a profit makes it worth buying a few wolves for the Nookazon.

There are many other ways to make money quickly in the Nookazon market. Players can check out the most profitable items in Animal Crossing and spend time crafting and collecting if trying to find and resell villagers feels like too much of a risk (or just too painful). However, many villagers are worth a lot if players are willing to take the time and effort to take them home and throw them away. If Animal Crossing players don't focus on finding the most popular villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but instead search for popular species, they may be able to make a decent profit from their islanders.
