ACNH Shamrock Day is now available for a limited time

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is kicking off the holiday festivities a little bit early. Called Shamrock Day in-universe, Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans will be able to acquire several limited time items to wear or place around their islands.

While Mario's crossover items may not be timed, Shamrock Day's content is there, so players interested in getting all the items will want to collect Animal Crossing Bells sooner rather than later. From now until the actual St. Patrick's Day on March 17th, fans can pick up these items. It's no surprise that the colors of green and clover patterns are extremely common, and each element making up the event clearly sticks to the theme.

As with other event Animal Crossing: New Horizons items, the first three goodies can be found in Nook Shopping. A Shamrock doorplate can be purchased for 1,200 bells, engraved on the front with the Irish word "welcome". Shamrock Soda costs 1000 Bells and acts like a New Years Cider where players can create an adorable animation of toast as they use the item. The final piece of shopping at the Nook is the Shamrock Rug, which costs 1,500 bells and allows players to cover the floor of their home with a colorful clover-shaped item. Only one item appears each day, so players must log in for three days in a row to get everything.

Fans of Animal Crossing: New Horizons can also find a range of items at Able Sisters, where seamstresses offer special clothing for players. The light green Shamrock suit can be purchased for 3,000 Bells, and the Shamrock Hat for 1,320 Bells. Shamrock sunglasses can be purchased for 1,100 bells, using some clover shapes to make this fun pair of sunglasses stand out. Finally, green and gold Shamrock Shoes complete the outfit, costing players 1,680 Bells.

The final entry for the Shamrock Day event will be Animal Crossing: New Horizons, in which players break balloons in hopes of getting a recipe. Now that the recipe drops randomly, players will likely need to smash some balloons with or without a slingshot. But in the end, the Shamrock Wand should fall off and can be easily made from 3 Elemental Star Fragments and 3 Weed Clumps. The wand has a stylish tin with a shiny green clover in the center, and it goes perfectly with a Shamrock Day outfit.

With a special Mario mission also available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players have a good reason to explore their islands in the days to come. With the return of Bunny Day, there will only be a few weeks of downtime when Shamrock Day items leave the game.
