Animal Crossing: New Horizons players are always coming up with clever decoration concepts, and Update 2.0 gave the developers some new Animal Crossing items to work with. By using some of these new items, the player of Animal Crossing: New Horizons has completely transformed his home into a residence.

While fans of Animal Crossing: New Horizons can expand the interior of their home with many rooms, the houses themselves will always look a bit small, no matter how big they are. The exterior only gets a little bigger as players expand their homes, leaving many wanting more from their expensive homes. As such, YouTuber Crizzy Crossings has made an effort to turn players' homes into mansions by completely redesigning the exterior of the living areas to make them look much more refined. Fortunately, players of all skill levels should be able to copy a content creator's design as it's simple and doesn't take up much space.

As Crizzy Crossings said at the beginning of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players only need 4x4 squares on the side of the house and a 12x6 base on the front of the house. From there, they can start working on the path and decoration. The trails used include several custom brick and stone options, and a grassy lawn takes up most of the area. All paths have been expertly laid out and the Crizzy Crossing garden looks great once the earthworks are complete. As no terraforming is required, the process looks simple.

Players will also need a few items from the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update, namely the castle tower and the sides of the medieval building. They are used to extend the house and make it look like a real mansion, with towers at the back and sides of the building in front of it. All these props make the player's house much larger than usual, allowing players to increase the impressive number of Bells.

This is where the development of Animal Crossing: New Horizons really starts to come together. In addition to the combination of Simple and Lattice fences, details such as street lamps, benches and fountains enrich the area around the player's residence. The clever use of plants makes the surroundings look much more elegant, and everything from planters and simple panels to a mushroom wreath on the door, together make a beautiful home outside.
