It's December and Christmas is coming. Animal Crossing: New Horizons offers festive goodies to make your island a bit more festive.

It is hard to believe that it is already December and Christmas is coming. Animal Crossing: New Horizons seems to be in a festive mood as they have made some winter / holiday items available to all users.

I love it when video games have seasonal in-game elements for their players. This gives the game a more realistic feel as well as gives players more options for customization to keep up with the current time.

If you browse the Nook store catalog in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you'll find two new items to buy. The first thing you encounter is a beautiful aurora wall. This wall, called the Aurora Wall, looks exactly what you think, aurora borealis. As a true Northern Lights fan, this is a great winter item to add to the game. When people think of the aurora, they usually associate it with winter and snow. Even most of the pictures you browse online relating to the northern lights depict a snowy landscape, as the best places to see in person are in cold and snowy places. Buying an Aurora wall in Animal Crossing: New Horizons will cost you 7,000 bells.

This is something that I highly recommend jumping into now while you have a chance to get it. This item most likely won't be available forever. If you have Animal Crossing bells and you love them and you have great color combinations pick up this item now.

If you want to dress up in festive clothes, you will also find a winter sweater with a nice reindeer pattern on the front in the Nook shopping catalog. This sweater is much cheaper than the Aurora Wall and only costs 1,200 bells. Both items can be found in the Season tab of the Nook Store catalog and can only be purchased until December 31.

Those familiar with the Animal Crossing series know that Toy Day is also approaching. If you're unfamiliar with Toy Day, it's the annual Animal Crossing Christmas event. In fact, Cranny Nooks was selling Christmas toys before Toy Day. If you go to the seasonal corner of the store, you will see a new toy every day until Christmas. You never know what other cool items will be available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled on what else is to come.
