Some 'lucky' items in ACNH (and how to get them)

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, there are certain items marked with a 'luck' parameter that increases your Happy Home Academy (HHA) score. There are 16 known lucky items in the game, although this number is likely to increase with updates.

3 gold trophies from Lucky Animal Crossing

There are three gold trophies in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The gold bug trophy will be sent to the player after scoring 300 points in the Bug Off event. These events take place every third Saturday during the summer months. As with the Gold Bug Trophy, the Gold Fish Trophy will be sent to the player after scoring 300 points in the Fishing Tournament, which takes place on the second Saturday in January, April, July and October. The Gold HHA trophy will be sent to the player once the HHA score is at least 150,000 by properly furnishing the user's home.

3 Lucky Animal Crossing Purchasable Items

Some lucky Animal Crossing: New Horizons items need to be purchased. The in-game limited edition of New Horizons Nintendo Switch can be viewed in the "Specials" section of Nook Shopping, which can be accessed through the Nook Stop kiosk in the Resident Service building or through the Nook Shopping app. Players who really bought the Switch's limited edition can find the in-game version in their mailbox after completing the tutorial. Another lucky item, Kanji Tee Top Garment, may appear randomly in the Nook Shopping Special Goods, Able Sisters, or may be randomly given by a villager. The third lucky item to buy from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the ring, may randomly appear for sale at Nook's Cranny.

1 An exclusive item for Gulliver from the Happy Animal Crossing

After helping Gulliver repair a broken communicator by digging up 5 rusty parts, he can send the player a katana the next day.

2 Lucky Animal Crossing Fish

There are two happy fish in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. A black goldfish with arched eyes is a small shade found in ponds. It is available all year round from 9am to 4pm. Lucky Koi can also be fished from the pond all year round from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. They have a great shade.

6 Lucky Animal Crossing DIY Items

There are six different lucky items to edit in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The Crescent-Moon chair can be made by Celeste herself. Requires 7 Star Fragments and 1 Large Star Fragment to craft. You can get the fragments on the beach after you want stars the night before. The gold rosary is a DIY wall mount that can be obtained randomly from a craftsman or a message in a bottle. You need 10 gold roses to make.

Do it yourself for a Golden Candlestick can be obtained from self-satisfied villagers. Requires 2 gold nuggets, which you can find by hitting rocks. Lucky Gold Cat is DIY that can be obtained from a balloon, message bottle, or a craft villager. You need 2 gold nuggets and a lucky cat, item exclusive to Gulliver. Arguably the most difficult item to make, DIY for a robot hero can be purchased with Nook Miles in Nook Stop. Requires 1 projectile, 1 gold armor, 30 rusty parts, 90 iron nuggets and 10 gold nuggets. Finally, the Wobbling Zipper Toy DIY can be obtained from Zipper T. Bunny on Bunny Day if the player created all the items from the Bunny Day series. Requires 4 each Rabbit Day Egg: Earth, Rock, Leaf, Air and Water.

Lucky Animal Crossing Villager Pictures

Not to be confused with villager posters, villager photos are framed photos of villagers that they can donate once they reach a certain friendship level. While there are only 16 lucky items, having a few photos of villagers at home gives you a happiness bonus for each unique photo, so making lots of friends can significantly increase a person's HHA score in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
